About MicroAesthetics laser Education

MicroAesthetics Laser Education (MALE) is a DBA of IzaBella Aesthetics, LLC.  MALE is dedicated to providing the most  comprehensive paramedical & cosmetic laser education to those individuals pursuing a career in the medspa and medical aesthetics fields.  MALE offers comprehensives laser program through  two courses; ParaMedical Laser Course & Cosmetic Laser course.  The curriculum provides theory required hours (40-hour didactic course) and live hands-on practical application course within the walls of the active working medspa practice, KEFI Advanced Laser and Skin in Chandler, Arizona. 

FAQ 1.  Although our staff has an accumulation of over 45 years in aesthetics and laser industry, MALE was established in 2023 and is under the direction of Laura Langlas, a veteran Certified Laser Technician and Laser Instructor and Isabel Calleros a well-seasoned licensed aesthetics educator and Certified Laser Technician.  For the past five years Isabel and Laura have teamed up in both Tucson and Phoenix areas educating individuals in paramedical and cosmetic laser for certification.  Isabel has been instructing laser since 2010 in both aesthetics schools, medspas and physician offices  She possess a vast experience in aesthetics and laser treatments.  The MALE instructors have been instructing in laser for over 10 years in med spa and dermatology practices.  Laura and Isabel have merged all this training under in one curriculum.

MALE is a state licensed laser training facility that remains on the cutting edge of education for a career in ParaMedical & Cosmetic Laser.  The comprehensive laser curriculum provides both didactic (theory) and hands-on practical laser application in a medical medspa environment.  This type of environment setting bridges the gap between the beauty of particular skin issues with the science of laser technologies.  Through innovated education and state of the art laser equipment, there is no doubt that MALE Laser Intern Clinician graduates are at the top of any employment list for hire.  Cosmetic laser, IPL and radio frequency devices have become standard modalities in most aesthetics, med-spas and cosmetic physician practices.  Nurses, medical assistance, aestheticians and massage therapist, have found it both rewarding and beneficial to obtain dual licensure for gainful employment.  

To become an Arizona Certified Laser Technician, in any aspect of paramedical & cosmetic laser treatments, one MUST begin their career at an approved licensed laser training facility prior to applying for the Certified Laser Technician certificate that is issued by the Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS).  It is our responsibility to provide quality paramedical & cosmetic laser education and information to our patients/clients, along with quality paramedical laser education to our Laser Intern Clinicians.

ISABEL CALLEROS, our founder and director, has dedicated her life long career in the education of aesthetics, permanent makeup and laser technologies.  She has over 45 years in the beauty industry and has numerous accumulates in her portfolio.  As a veteran licensed educator of cosmetology, specializing in aesthetics, she has worked side by side with some of the valley’s most renowned plastic surgeons in Scottsdale, Arizona. She has made it a point to share that knowledge with her students. And since there were no licensed schools of aesthetics in the state of Arizona in 1996, Isabel approached the Arizona Board of Cosmetology to open the state’s first licensed school of aesthetics. One year later In 1997 National Aesthetics Institute-Scottsdale was born.  With her advanced aesthetics curriculum and inclusive spa, salon and medical experience, she went on to establish the aesthetics educational format for the aesthetics educational model still in use today across the state.  Ms. Calleros has been credited for introducing and writing the first aesthetics and cosmetology laser program in 2010 for state board schools.   Along with the expertise and knowledge of Laura Langlas, Isabel is responsible for the MALE laser curriculum development and training courses.  She has spent countless hours researching the latest in cosmetic laser and the human body interaction. MALE has teamed up with KEFI Advanced Laser and Skin medspa to bring the most innovated and realistic laser education to the Laser Intern Clinician.  

LAURA LANGLAS, our laser educator, holds the titles as a medical assistant, board certified laser technician, laser educator and medical aesthetics specialist.  Laura has dedicated the past 15 years of hands-on experience in dermatology and cosmetic laser in both Arizona and California.  Laura stays up-to-date with the latest advances in cosmetic dermatology and laser technology to assist each patient look and feel their best.
